Unleash the Jedi – or Sith – in you this May with what would probably the coolest gadget of the decade.
Wicked Lasers, makers of the S3 Krypton Laser which is the first and only handheld laser that can be seen from space, will make your Star Wars dreams come true this May with LaserSaber.
The LaserSaber is an attachment to the S3 Krypton Laser that allows the beam to go through a 32-inch polycarbonate blade, turning it into a real-life lightsaber. It features a magnetic gravity system that allows the blade to imitate the power up and power down of famous sabers seen at the movies as well as an aircraft grade hard anodized T60 aluminum hilt. It is also interchangeable and can be attached to any Spyder 3 model which is sold separately.
The LaserSaber shines brightly even in daytime or when the lights are on. The company, however, has decided not to add any sound effects to the toy for reasons not divulged to our sources.
The LaserSaber, however, is still a concentrated and powerful beam of light and therefore must not be used for dueling or any form of swordplay to avoid serious damage to people and property. You can still give it a few careful swings, though, just to get that Star Wars feel.
To all Jedi wannabes out there, the Force will be with you on May 5th 2012. The LaserSaber attachment will cost you about a hundred bucks while the S3 Krypton Laser will set you back around $ 299.95.
