Once again, Sony is raising the bar for HDTV experience with the launching of its 84-inch XBR-84X900 LED TV. We’ve already seen a lot of these home theaters lately, haven’t we? Not ones with 4K Ultra HD Video Players, we haven’t. Once again, this is something only Sony can do.

The first ever 4K HD video player for home use comes with Sony’s latest HDTV set. It is a hard-disk server that comes preloaded with 10 full movie flicks – including The Amazing Spider-man, Total Recall (2012) and Taxi Driver, as well as concert and sports footages.
With the player’s stunning camera resolution and surround sound system, Sony users might never have to go to the cinemas any longer. Sony provides all the best of a movie experience right there in the living room – LED backlighting, 3D display features, and now a player that make blu-ray films come alive better than what movie houses can do.
The only catch is the thick stack of savings that the buyer has to pay for it. At the price of a brand new Sedan, Sony’s latest entertainment offer is still way out of reach for the average couch potato and movie fanatic. Sony will have to convince the mass market that parting with their $ 25,000 for this Sony innovation is worth it. The manufacturer already plans to load up their product with more exciting –and hopefully, useful – features to do just that.
