Apple has just released a significant update to iTunes, version 11.0.3, featuring a completely redesigned MiniPlayer, a gorgeous new “Songs View” that highlihgts album artwork, better support for multi-disc albums, and more. My favorite part is that the new MiniPlayer can be expanded to show an entire playlist (screenshots below via 9t05Mac)!

Google Releases Unlocked Galaxy S4, Price Hurts A Bit

Google is set to release its own version of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 retrofitted with a “stock” version of its Android OS Jelly Bean, not the one modified by the phone company.

This was announced by Google’s VP of product management for Android Hugo Bara during the company’s ongoing Google I/O developers conference. The device is possessed of an LTE-support for the giant carriers T-Mobile and AT&T and comes in a full unlocked version. Google’s Galaxy S4 will be available in 16GB storage and will receive prompt system updates.

The move to sell its own version of the Galaxy S4 could have been triggered by Google’s experience with Nexus phones offering no compatibility with the 4th-gen LTE network and poor cameras. This could appease Google users and improve the image of Android OS even more. The search giant’s past experience of selling phones without the support of carriers on its online Google Play store proved to be unsuccessful.

Samsung contributed to the success and popularity of Android mobile OS by integrating it to its range of mobile phone products offered in the market. Google is optimistic that its version of the Galaxy S IV will be a huge seller with the modifications and new features introduced. It will be Google’s take on the OS and the phone will go on sale in Google Play starting June 26 for a hefty price of $ 649.
