Samsung GT-B5330: Leaked Specs For New QWERTY ICS Phone

Samsung’s Galaxy S III is all well and good when you want something loaded with tech and high-end specs and not mind if it puts a dent in your wallet, but how about those with a budget and not looking for something brimming with such sophisticated features? Apparently Samsung also has a model for them, or so an anonymous tipster from the unofficial Samsung blog, Sammy Hub, claims.

Samsung GT B5330: Leaked Specs For New QWERTY ICS Phone

The model is called the GT-B5330 and while it doesn’t look like much with a grayish body and QWERTY keyboard that points to the lack of an onscreen one, it’s said to carry Android 4.0.4 or Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s not Jelly Bean device, but ICS has already proven itself as a solid OS for mobile devices, and that’s far better than arriving with either Froyo or Gingerbread. Meanwhile, its screen is a meager 320 x 240px QVGA display and its processor is a single-core 849MHz of unknown make.

It’s also been said that the phone has Chinese certification and a listing in the GLBenchmark database, but not much can be made out from those. They’re also not proof that the GT-B5330 will actually be released, and Samsung hasn’t made any mention of the device just yet, or even let anyone know that it’s aware of this potential leak.

Should the model be real, it’s sure to sell for a very low price, with some estimating it to be at just $ 150 because of its modest specs.
