AppleInsider:

The Bloomberg Anywhere app for iPad saw a version update on Monday, bringing a completely revamped user interface tailored to subscriber feedback. Version 2.4 of the app also gives users access to Instant Bloomberg (IB), improved Charts and People sections, and Bloomberg Industries.

“We have seen — over the past three years — the number of subscribers accessing our platform on a mobile device double,” Bloomberg Anywhere Mobile chief John Waanders wrote in a blog post, “and more than half access the platform via multiple devices.”

Just over 10% of Bloomberg’s global 313,000 global subscribers are using the company’s iPad app. Waanders says traders are coming to seek out the “lean back experience” associated with tablet use.

Previously, subscribers would access the company’s real-time financial information on hardware terminals known as “Bloomberg Boxes.” However, two-thirds of the firms customers now use the Bloomberg Anywhere service, which allows logging into the service on various devices by using a portable fingerprint reader.

The Bloomberg Anywhere app is available for the iPhone and iPad in the App Store. [DIRECT LINK]

Sony Xperia Z specs and features, pros and cons

Another Xperia series Z phone from Sony brand. It has stunning looks, I can say the mixture of Samsung and the Apple products. With a 5 inch” display big, but well proportioned in comparison to the competition. The front and back tempered glass give a glossy look to the device and the black band that runs over the edges makes it look solid and complete. The screen quality is really cool and can mess up with Apple & Samsung with resolution of 1920 x1080p on Sony’s Full HD Reality Display. Let’s check out specifications in detail.

Display:

It has high end resolution of 1920 x1080p with Sony’s Full HD Reality Display. It can easily give competition to Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 as images were very vivid and bright.

Hardware and software:

The Sony Xperia Z runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, which can be upgraded to the next version of Jelly Bean – Android 4.2. The phone incorporates 1.5 GHz quad core processor and 2 GB RAM for smooth performance. Using the MicroUSB port you can connect a plethora of accessories including memory sticks, game controllers and more. You can able to connect 2.0 USB hard drive on Xperia z.

Other Features:

Like other high end smartphones, the Sony Xperia Z has preloaded media players that can play files of many formats. FM radio is available for accessing various radio stations. Users can download games from Google Play and customize this Android smartphone.

Pros:

  • 2GB RAM
  • 1920 x1080p on Sony’s Full HD Reality Display
  • The speakers are on the left side
  • 2.0 USB HDD support
  • Water proof

Cons:

  • Camera color issue (Bright sunshine mode)
  • Darker and over saturated in areas, making a dark scene even darker than it was in reality
  • Battery issue

Price of Sony Xperia Z is officially not announced yet but i think it would be around $ 472. Guys stay tuned from our website for more detail on Xperia Z.
