Aside from the teased Lumia 925 (“Catwalk”), Nokia might also release a true EOS handset with similarly huge camera sensor as the 808 PureView.

Rumors abound that the Nokia EOS smartphone will have some similarities with the Lumia 920 including the latter’s 4.5-inch touchscreen panel and 1280 x 768 screen resolution. However, the EOS model would be tapered at each end making it look slimmer. It is also said to be much lighter than the 920.
If you haven’t noticed, the Finnish phone maker has been focusing on improving its camera tech, and audio spec of its new smartphones. That said, the EOS allegedly would possess a huge camera sensor; but whether or not it is similar with 808′s 41 megapixel snapper remains a mystery.
Another feature on this rumored Nokia handset is the camera app called “Nokia Pro Camera”. The leaked information goes on to say that it would allow users to control manual focus. In addition, the EOS will have a lens cover that automatically opens once you start the camera app; plus it will have smaller-sized flash and lens compared to the 808 PureView.
It’s difficult to say whether the EOS phone will beat the 920. Perhaps, in terms of camera specs and overall built, the EOS gets the upper hand; however it’s hard to judge while other hardware specs are missing. No launch details for the handset but Nokia teased a new device scheduled this summer, so we could probably hear new updates come July or August.
