Samsung has recently announced its flagship smartphone, Galaxy S IV, but that will not stop the Korean tech giant to proceed on a new Note model.
Rumor has it that Sammy will introduce a new exterior design for its phablet to cope up with other competitors. Instead of utilizing plastic chassis similar to previous Galaxy devices (including the GS4) the Galaxy Note 3 will use Aluminum casing. It was reported that the company had thought about using metal chassis for its Galaxy S IV but dropped it due to problems on mass producing the device on time.
It’s good to note that one of Samsung’s tough competitors, HTC, has already utilized aluminum for its HTC One. This move had certainly made Samsung fans wanting the same exterior chassis for Galaxy devices.
Although unconfirmed, the Galaxy Note 3 is said to have a 6-inch FHD AMOLED touchscreen display, Exynos 5 Octa CPU, 13MP rear camera, Android Jelly Bean (or the latest Android 5.0) and LTE connectivity. With regards to its software, the Note 3 would have more compared to GS4. It is expected to don the newest TouchWiz interface (Nature UX) with user-friendly functions, smarter and more powerful than HTC One’s interface.
Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 3 is expected to show on August – same month when Note 2 was announced last year.
