According to some rumors, Epic Games will release their latest third-person shooter video game ‘Gears of War: Judgment’ on February 8, 2013. Stay tuned for more info. [Hooked Gamers]
Gears of War. Who can ever forget Epic’s game about the Delta Squad trying their hardest to save the last living people in a planet called Sera? Rumors have been circulating (particularly from Game Informer’s July issue) that Epic is on its machinations for a new game which is featuring a prequel story of the current Gears of War.
Apparently, news includes that the Baird and Kilo Squads will be the central characters in the game. Cole and Garron Sofia, the Coalition of Ordered Governments army infantry squad, will also be highlighted characters.
The story will revolve around the conflict of our main characters being charged of stealing military and tactical equipment resulting to death of millions of people. It is actually set 14 years before the story in the first Gears of Wars. Players will even see a young version of Marcus Fenix, main character in the first Gears of War, in the game.
As of the moment, there are really no confirmations being given by Epic nor the people from People Can Fly (who are working on the game) regarding release dates. What is sure is that Game Informer will be releasing a story about the game in their July Issue. So, we just have to keep our ears out and be patient.
