There has been a lot of wait for the release of Vizio’s ultrawidescreen LCD TV since the company promised a release last year. After disappointments during the October and March assumed release dates, the company has finally shown their new project for everyone to see. The Vizio XVT Cinemawide HDTVs are already being shipped as of the moment.

Now, what can we expect from the new model. Well, there is the 58-inch screen with the 2560 x 1080p screen. It features the Vizio Theater 3D technology which provides a crystal-clear and flicker-free 3d experience. Its 21:9 ratio actually fits what moviegoers see on the big screen which means there’s no cropping or adjusting needed on your HDTV. The XVT Cinemawide set also has an edge-based LEC backlighting, a 120Hz refresh rate, and the common host of Vizio internet apps. The set also comes with a Bluetooth remote with a full keyboard which allows users to text, chat and browse internet applications easily.
For those who would like to grab their own model, then you can buy this baby for only $ 2,800 which is said to be a lot lower than the price the company quoted during their announcement of the plan for the HDTV at $ 3,500. If you’re interested, check out the company’s website to order one.
