Following an incredibly successful launch on iOS, Rovio’s new franchise Amazing Alex will be coming to the Mac and PC platforms soon, it has been announced (via The Verge). The announcement, posted by a spokesperson on the official Amazing Alex Twitter feed, did not give a timeframe, only stating that it would come ‘post launch’.

As far as Windows Phone goes, it’s possible that it will exclusive to Nokia, with previous versions unsupported. But availability for Mac and PC will definitely get many excited, so we’ll have to see exactly when and how it gets released.

Rovio has recently launched the Amazing Alex for Android and iOS devices. The video game provides 100 challenging levels across four fun-filled locations. It is available on the iPhone for $ 0.99 and the iPad for $ 2.99. The Amazing Alex comes in three versions for Android OS such as the free version, a paid version for $ 0.99, and an HD version for $ 2.99. Watch the video after the jump.
