Guests of the event were sworn to secrecy about the news, but information as vital and exciting as this can’t be kept under wraps for long. Within hours, delicious tidbits of information about the game have surfaced. And from what we gathered, well known character Snake is back, but what incarnation of Snake is anyone’s guess. The game will also run on a Fox game engine and is rumored to have stunning graphics with full details.

An interesting change to the game is Kojima’s concept of giving players more opportunities to escape from different situations where they’re discovered or surrounded by enemies. There are no concrete details yet on when this new installment will be launched or in what gaming platforms. But Kojima hinted that the Fox engine can run on next gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox 720.
