The charging station is not the official one as shared and presented by Samsung. It is though a Verizon branded charging kit. This board works very well with most Android phones that support wireless charging. As for Galaxy S III owners, they do need to purchase a back cover that supports wireless charging. Do not worry though as the cover is a genuine product made by Samsung.
