The latest installment in Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 – promises gamers challenging and unforgettable battle encounters as they play with friends while honing their skills in preparation to facing Multiverse’s ultimate villain, Nicol Bolas.

This new game is offered in two versions: the pre-purchase edition and the special edition. So what’s the difference? The pre-purchase edition assures that buyers are to receive the Full Deck Unlock for Ajani’s Celestial Light Deck during the launch while owners of the Duels 2012 edition who choose to upgrade will receive the Full Deck Unlock for Garruck’s Pack Instinct Deck. On the other hand, those who will purchase the Duels 2013 special edition will get the following: Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 full game, its official soundtrack, five wall papers in various sizes, a PDF of the 2nd path of the Planeswalkers Graphic novel and access to foiled cards for ten base game decks.
The pre-purchase edition of Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will be available for purchase on June 20th at a selling price of $ 9.99. The special edition is priced at $ 19.99 and is set for release on the same day as the pre-purchase edition. It’s compatible on multiple platforms including PS3, Xbox 360, PC and iPad (iOS).
