Apple fans are closely waiting for the release of the third generation of iPad or iPad 3. There are reports that the new iPad will be release by Apple this March. Hence, the dilemma of some iPad 2 owners of what to do with their iPads in case Apples actually releases iPad 3 this March.

Some iPad owners are now selling their iPad 2 in anticipation for the release of the iPad 3. In fact, Gazelle and NextWorth, two online services which are in the business of selling used electronics, said that the traffic for the sale of iPad 2 increased by 400% to 500% since last week.
They are also advising iPad 2 owners, who have decided to get the iPad 3, that the best time to sell their iPads is now or before the release of iPad 3. The advice is well substantiated since studies show that during the release of the iPad 2, iPad owners who sold their tablets before the release got a higher selling price as against those who sold the same when the iPad 2 was released.

Rumors place the release date of iPad 3 on March 7. The iPad 3 is expected to have a double retina display and an A6 processor. Other specifications, such as longer battery life, Siri functionality, and 4G features, remain to be rumors until the iPad 3 is actually released.
